About Darko

Darko Giacomini is an experienced psychometrist and psychometric consultant with more than twelve years of specialized practice in psychological assessment. His clinical background spans psychoeducational, neuropsychological, psychovocational, and developmental assessments across the lifespan, utilizing both traditional and digital administration platforms, and he has extensive expertise with a broad range of standardized psychological measures, including the WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, WRAT5, WRAML3, TOMM, Woodcock-Johnson, Stanford-Binet-5, and multiple diagnostic tools used in autism assessment.

In addition to his clinical work, Darko has contributed significantly to the field of psychometrics through item and scale development, statistical validation, and advanced measurement analysis. His consulting work has included key contributions to the development and validation of major assessment instruments, including the TOMM2 and Conners 4. He has also provided leadership as a Clinical Director, overseeing psychometric services, developing training programs, and supporting clinicians through complex assessment cases.

Darko holds a Master’s degree in Health Policy with a concentration in Evaluation and Assessment Design from York University, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English Literature from the University of Toronto. His academic and professional training has equipped him with strong analytical skills, advanced report-writing capabilities, and a deep understanding of psychometric theory and practice.

He is known for his professionalism, precision, and commitment to high-quality assessment practice, with experience in both independent and multidisciplinary clinical environments.
