Individual Supervision

Ellie Borden, BA, RP, provides supervision that supports therapists in developing their clinical skills, reflective practice, and professional growth. Areas of focus may include case consultations, case conceptualization, navigating clinical challenges, and discussing ethical decision-making within the scope of relevant standards and guidelines.

Supervision can also assist therapists in meeting the CRPO’s supervision requirements during the qualifying phase, after registration, or at later stages of their career. Ongoing supervision is often helpful for clinical development and maintaining reflective, accountable practice.

 

Areas commonly addressed in supervision with Ms. Borden include:

  • Case conceptualization

  • Case consultation and discussion of clinical decision-making

  • Professional development, including strengthening competencies and reflective practice

  • Support related to private practice development from a professional practice perspective

  • Exploration of clinical biases, cultural considerations, and working with specific populations (e.g., couples, families, culturally diverse clients, intergenerational trauma)

  • Identifying relevant continuing education, skills training, or resources aligned with learning goals

Group Supervision

Ellie Borden, BA, RP, offers monthly online group supervision sessions for therapists seeking collaborative clinical reflection and professional development. These sessions provide a structured space to discuss cases, consider different perspectives, and engage with peers in a supportive, facilitated environment.


What to expect in group supervision:

  • Opportunities to discuss cases and consider varied clinical perspectives

  • Facilitated reflection and guidance from the supervisor to support ethical and effective decision-making

  • Learning through observing discussions of peers’ cases and supervisory feedback

  • A structured, confidential environment for exploring clinical challenges and enhancing professional judgment


Group supervision sessions are held monthly and are 1 hour in duration. Each session is $100.00 (plus applicable taxes). Sessions are conducted online through a secure platform.


Requirements:

  • Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection

  • Registration in advance of the session
