This is a neurodevelopment disorder that impairs a person’s ability in communication, interpersonal interactions, and as a result, daily functioning. ASD can usually be detected within the first three years of life, during early childhood development. The effects of ASD can differ from person to person depending on the severity of their condition, their development level, and their age.
