Marketing Internship
Mind By Design® is a mental health clinic with over 25 locations throughout Ontario. We offer psychological assessments, therapy, and therapeutic devices to clients in over 10 languages. We provide empathetic, compassionate, genuine, personalized and discreet treatment, with emphasis on professional evidence-based therapy to help adults and adolescents live happier, more fulfilled and productive lives.
Mind By Design® is currently searching for a dynamic and talented Marketing professional to join us in an unpaid internship position, working with our operations team. You will play a key role in developing engaging marketing campaigns and strategies to grow our business.
Responsibilities:

Manage the marketing calendars and lead in-market execution to stay on track with the initiation and follow-up of marketing efforts;

Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the clinic and its programs; assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other materials;

Create and execute compelling and strategic marketing presentations for new and existing programs (e.g. increase local clientele for common mental health concerns; MVA cases; adoption screenings; class action suits (victim support); government contracts, aftercare programs (addictions), custody evaluations, co-parenting programs, couple’s retreats, corporate programs, professional development for mental health practitioners, etc.);

Provide performance monitoring of decision systems, statistical models and business outcomes;

Nurture current strategic partnerships and implement plans to establish new strategic partnerships (e.g. law firms, insurance companies, assessment centers, rehabilitation clinics, pain clinics, etc.) through email, phone and online outreach and marketing;

Ensure the smooth operation of year-round groups, workshops and webinars;

Assist with event coordination and planning; attend clinic’s events and interface with key media, stakeholders, and influencers;

Develop proposals and applications for grants and other government/non-profit initiatives;

Integrate business goals and project objectives into client-centered marketing strategies;

Evaluate performance of project strategy and execution, using key learnings to inform continuous improvement.
Requirements:

Strong interpersonal skills, energetic and eager to learn along with professional drive;

Excellent and professional communication skills (verbal and written) via email, phone, and in-person; ability to build relationships over an effective marketing approach;

Knowledge of marketing methods/strategies and navigation of execution practices;

Solid understanding of print and digital platforms and the ability to leverage in an integrated way to meet identified goals and objectives;

Efficiency at MS Office and G Suite;

Highly organized with excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize between tasks, multitask complex deadlines under pressure, and manage competing priorities;

Attention to detail and demonstration of analytical decision-making and critical thinking;

Project an image of professionalism, integrity, tact and discretion while working with highly sensitive and confidential information;

Research skills for marketing and outreach purposes;

Content creation expertise and creative input on a regular basis;

Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates comfortable and effective working relationships with team members and partnering organizations.
Location for internship: Remotely. Mind By Design® is currently offering all supportive services and conducting meetings through video conferencing. There is limited access to our physical offices.

Internship terms: This is an unpaid internship. No benefits are provided.
Number of hours: 37.5 hours per week to be completed Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to
4:30 PM. You may be required to work 2.5 to 5.5 more hours per week. This will depend
on the active projects and tasks needing attention.
